Po-Ren Hsueh

Superintendent
Professor Hsueh graduated from the National Taiwan University College of Medicine (NTUCM). He has completed several years of clinical internship and residency at the National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH) and has been working at NTUH and NTUCM since 1995. Professor Hsueh moved to CMUH at CMU in 2021. Throughout his career, he has held president positions in several local and international societies, including the International Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ISAC), Asia-Pacific Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infection (APSCMI), Global Chinese Association of Clinical Microbiology and Infection (GCACMID), Infection Control Society of Taiwan (ICST), Taiwan Society of Microbiology (TSM), and Taiwan Society of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (TSCPaLM). He has also served as a member of the Scientific Program Committee for several international congresses, including the International Congress of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ICC), American Society for Microbiology (ASM) Microbe, European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID), and other regional congresses on infectious diseases and clinical microbiology. Currently, Professor Hsueh is the president of TSM and Society of Taiwan Long-Term Care Infection Prevention and Control (STLTCIPC). He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Microbiology, Immunology, and Infection (JMII, impact factor 4.399 in 2020), Section Editor of the International Journal Antimicrobial Agents (IJAA), funding editor of the Journal of Global Antimicrobial Resistance (JGAR), provides editorial input to several prestigious journals, and is a reviewer for more than 50 journals. His major research interests include clinical microbiology, epidemiology and mechanisms of antimicrobial resistance (bacteria, mycobacteria, and fungi), molecular epidemiology of emerging pathogens, molecular diagnosis of infectious agents, infection control, and emerging viral infections. Professor Hsueh has authored more than 1,030 original research and review articles.

Chiung-Tzu Hsiao

Tien Ni

Technical Director
Doctor Tien Ni has a doctorate degree from Department of Veterinary Medicine, National Chung Hsing University and is currently Assistant professor of Department of Medical Laboratory Science and Biotechnology as well as the Director of Division of Microbiology, Department of Laboratory Medicine, China Medical University Hospital; Expert Committee Member for Pregnancy Type B Streptococcaceae Quality assurance planning, Health Promotion Administration, Department of Health and Welfare as well as Director of Chinese Society of Wound Medicine. She uses her expertise to help the development of the government and specialized organizations. In addition, she is responsible for the Department’s laboratory safely as well as the Chief of Staff for the Hospital’s Biology Safety Association and Laboratory Safety for the Center for Disease Control, Department of Health and Welfare. She is also the medical personnel and internship planning host of the Hospital’s medical affair testing group. A promoter of bio-medical products as well as industry-academic cooperation.

Hsiu-Chin Lu

Director
Director Hsiu-Chin Lu has over 30 years of working experience since she started work in 1985. She has abundant experiences in bacteria, biology, immunology testing, quality assurance, laboratory management and new laboratory planning etc. She has promoted new quality assurance strategies for Department of Pathology, Tri-service General Hospital and Department of Laboratory Medicine, Kaohsiung Medical University; which contributed to passing CAP-LAP and ISO 15189 verifications from College of American Pathologists. Department of Laboratory Medicine, Kaohsiung Medical University was then able to receive National Quality Awards for “Rapid Transformation Laboratory” (from 2008-2013) and was appointed CAP judge, TAF senior judge and Europe Medical equipment & technique expert for over 10 years. During her time at Kaohsiung University, she also established a organ storage system and was the supervisor of quality management. Since 2012, she has been working at Department of Laboratory Medicine, China Medical University, with the aim of letting the department pass the CAP-LAP and ISO 15189 verifications on a regular basis.

Hui Ju Lin

Chief
Engaged in serum immunization and transplantation related operations for many years, with a certain clinical lecturer qualification, leading the group through multiple CAP certification and TAF certification Specialise: serum immunology, flow cytometry analysis

Hsiu-Hsien Lin

Chief
Hsiu-Hsien Lin team leader engaged in microbial group related operations for many years, and has led the group to pass many CAP certifications and TAF certifications. She also has knowledge of infection control and has a certificate of infection controllers to assist in the investigation of infectious infections and biosecurity. The ability to manage is also responsible for the management of biosafety throughout the hospital.

Tsai-Hsiu Lin

Chief
Tsai-Hsiu Lin team leader has been engaged in the related work of the sub-sector for many years, leading the whole group to pass the National Health Service to assess the genetic anemia genetic testing and confirmation institution and multiple CAP certification and TAF certification. She also has the medical diagnostic specialist and molecular of the Chinese Medical Inspection Society. Pathology Society is divided into professional medical examiner qualifications.

Yu-chang Chang

Chief
Mr. Yu-chang Chang has been engaged in inspection related operations for many years, and has served as a responder for CAP certification and TAF certification. He is also responsible for the management of emergency inspection timeliness monitoring. business.
