Dr. Joung-Liang Lan, is a specialist of Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology. He served as Visiting Scholar of Johns Hopkins Center, USA. He earned as the Master Award from Taiwan College of Rheumatology (TCR, 2013) and Asia-Pacific League of Associations of Rheumatology (APLAR, 2017). Currently, he serves as an advisor to the Dean’s office of CMUH and Distinguished Professor of China Medical Univ. He served as President of TCR (2009-2011). His research interests include pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases, including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and connective tissue diseases associated with interstitial lung disease (CTD-ILD). The laboratory focuses on identifying the novel biomarkers and autoantibodies for diagnosing autoimmune disease and monitoring progression of CTD-ILD. He is the principal investigator of more than fifty international clinical trials (phase I-III,1995-2024).

Dr. Chien-Chung Huang previously received comprehensive training in internal medicine and subspecialty training in allergy, immunology, and rheumatology at Taichung Veterans General Hospital. He was honored with both hospital-level and ministry-level awards for excellence in teaching. After returning to the China Medical University Hospital, he applied his professional expertise to patient care, hoping that all patients could recover from their illnesses and return to normal life. In recognition of his dedication, he was awarded the Outstanding Attending Physician Award in both 2021 and 2024.

Doctor Jiunn-Horng Chen specializes in arthritis and allergy, including: immunological disease ( systemic lupus erythematosus, xerosis, Dermatomyositis, scleroderma), various arthritis (Rheumatoid arthritis, spondylitis ankylosans, gout, degenerative arthritis, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis as well as hives, asthma and allergy. Doctor Chen was a research fellow of the Department of Internal Medicine at UBC and is the Vice-President of the British Columbia Chinese Medicine Acupuncture Alliance. In the recent years, Doctor Chen has presented papers regarding arthritis, fibromyalgia and rheumatoid diseases in foreign rheumatoid journals; including: Arthritis & Rheumatology, Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases, Journal of Rheumatology etc. Thus he participated in forming the 2015 World Gout Diagnosis Guidelines, 2013 Taiwan Gout Introduction and joined Taiwan’s Fibromyalgia Consultation Committee to promote health education regarding fibromyalgia.

Doctor Po-Hao Huang has received Subspecialist complete training at the hospital’s Division of Internal Medicine and Division of Rheumatology and Immunology. He specialized in different forms of rheumatoid diseases, such as lupus erythmatosus, rheumatoid arthritis, spondylitis ankylosans, gout etc. Doctor Huang possess significant skill in most useful tool in observing the soft tissues of joints – Soft tissue ultrasound and is passionate about teaching. He currently has PGY mentor qualifications, OSCE examiner qualification, and is the promoter of 5th year and Resident physician education.

Doctor Wei-Che Hung received complete Division of Internal Medicine and Allergy-Immunology-Rheumatology Division Subspecialist training at Changhua Christian Hospital, while majoring in osteoporosis. He is exceptional at arthritis diagnosis and treatment (rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasiform arthritis, spondylitis ankylosans, gout,degenerative arthritis etc.) and connective tissue diseases (Acute & Chronic lupus erythmatosus, atopic eczema, allergic rhinitis etc. )

After graduation, Doctor Kai-Chieh Yang graduated received complete Division of Internal Medicine and Allergy-Immunology-Rheumatology Division Subspecialist training at Chung Shan Medical University and received the top marks for Rheumatology specialization exams. However, he cut himself no slack and put in tremendous effort in looking afte patients while passionately indulging in teaching. He was awarded Chung Shan Medical University ‘s top teaching Attending Physician for 7 consecutive years. He specializes in different common arthritis (gout, degenerative arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis etc.), spinal joint diseases (especially spondylitis ankylosans, psoriasiform arthritis, corneoiritis etc.) and other immunological disease (lupus erythmatosus, oral ulcer, xerosis, dermatomyositis, Raynaud's disease, vasculitis, scleroderma etc.) and other Allergy-Immunology diseases ( urticaria, allergic rhinitis,atopic eczema etc.)
