About Us

In 2012, the hospital integrated the pain division and related specialties, and established the interdisciplinary Center for Pain Management and Research.

The center has integrated multi-specialty resources including anesthesiology, pain management, neurosurgery, neurology, rehabilitation, hematology and oncology, acupuncture, orthopedics, family medicine, and hospice palliative care.

For clinical services, daily outpatient services can provide counseling or treatment channels for patients with pain, as well as inpatient consultation services for pain relief before and after operations and other acute and chronic pains. The scope of diagnosis and treatment include neuralgia and cancer pain in addition to general pain.

In a bid to maintain the quality and quantity of pain service, the team is engaged in both domestic and foreign academic conferences and studies, and carries out a multidisciplinary clinical or basic research, as well as welcomes the exchanges and visits between the center and all relevant specialists both at home and abroad, or the participation in training in the center.
