Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Center | Excellence

:::

Excellence

The hospital's hyperbaric oxygen chamber was made by Drass Galeazzi, an Italian company founded in 1946 which has manufactured 800 therapy chambers. The hyperbaric oxygen therapy equipment in the hospital has the registration certificate issued by the Department of Health (DOH), with the DOH medical device No. 007932.  Therefore, its safety and durability is beyond question. Considering the needs of critically ill patients over the course of planning, the chamber was designed to be a multiplace chamber with a round, fully-opened hatch and with a maximal capacity of 12 persons. Its interior was fitted with a full set of emergency treatment equipment, such as respirators, intravenous drip pumps, blood oxygen monitoring, and percutaneous oxygen partial pressure monitoring exclusively for the use of intensive care and emergency, which is in line with the first principle of saving life and treating diseases in the medical center.

The hospital spared no expense to set up the center with the aim of serving patients, offering better care for them, and enhancing their quality of life. The center's medical staff has all received intensive care training and it is a distinctive hyperbaric oxygen intensive care unit, where besides trauma or problem wound care, patients with carbon monoxide poisoning and fatal gas embolism are allowed to enter the chamber to get treatment. The center sincerely expects more patients to benefit from this technology.

The center also provides hyperbaric oxygen training with excellent results, as well as training programs for doctors based in the northern and southern regions.
