Research & Development Center for x-Dimensional Extracellular Vesicles (R&D Center for xEVs) | Our Speciality

:::

Excellence

Exosomes and extracellular vesicles are small vesicles produced by cells that can serve as potential biomarkers for diagnosing and monitoring diseases. Due to their internal cargo of various biomolecules, they have the potential to be used in disease treatment. Additionally, because they are enclosed by an external membrane, they can function as therapeutic delivery vehicles. The increase in chronic diseases, such as cancer, neurological disorders, and cardiovascular diseases, has led to a rapid growth in exosome research and applications. Consequently, there has been a significant rise in research resources and demand, with an expanding market need.

The purpose of the Research & Development Center for x-Dimensional Extracellular Vesicles is to develop exosome-based clinical therapeutic applications and to provide a production facility for exosome products that comply with national therapeutic regulations. This includes conducting clinical trials for exosome therapies aimed at achieving drug registration and approval for market release. By integrating research and related clinical cell product trials within the China Medical University and its medical system, the center aims to elevate the academic standing of the China Medical University and its medical system.
