The Human Research Protection Program Center tasks
  • Verify the scope of study covered by the hospital’s HRPP, according to the hospital's Human Research Advisory Committee     
  • Organize, coordinate, and implement the related business of the hospital's HRPP
  • Regularly audit the research projects approved by the hospital's research ethics committee
  • Carry out research program site visits
  • Audit and improve the hospital's HRPP
  • Undertake the hospital's HRPP assessments
  • Conduct human research ethics education training and subjects awareness campaigns 
  • Provide the subjects, the researcher, and other persons with the HRPP-related business consultations, complaints, and proposed channels.
  • Offer administrative support to the Human Research Protection Advisory Committee

  • Determine the scope covered by the hospital's HRPP
  • Draw up the policies, specifications, and operating procedures of the hospital's HRPP
  • Supervise the implementation of the center's work
  • Coordinate the operation of the responsible units for the hospital's HRPP
  • Assess the work effectiveness of the hospital's research ethics committee and proffer suggestions for improvement
  • Plan and evaluate the hospital's human research ethics training and subjects awareness campaigns
