Our division belongs to the center for treatment of hematologic diseases and malignant tumors in medical center. We uphold the spirit of practicing holistic care and multidisciplinary care. Our services are as follows:
- Consultant and treatment for hematologic diseases
- Consultant and treatment for blood cancers
Besides the chemotherapy and the targeted therapy, cancers including leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma also can be cured by the hematopoietic stem cell transplant. We are one of the important transplant centers in Taiwan.
- Consultant and treatment for malignant solid tumors
Cancers are usually named by the body part that they originated in and their pathologies such as lung adenocarcinoma, breast cancer and colorectal cancer. Due to different anatomical positions and biological characteristics, different cancers may have different patient’s prognoses and treatments. There are three main treatments including surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy. A well rounded cancer treatment is supported by the division of general surgery (e.g., orthopedics, neurosurgery, dermatology and plastic surgery), the division of radiation oncology and us developing treatment strategies for patients and providing services.
