Volunteer Team were awarded the “National Volunteer Team Outstanding Performance” by the Department of Health & Welfare
Initiated by TMC, in collaboration with Lin Tseng Lien Welfare and Charity Foundation, Old Five Old Foundation, to establish Love Connection Platform, helping with elderly projects.

Volunteer Team were awarded the 2013 “1st Health Maintenance Outstanding Volunteer Team” from Taichung City Government.

Assisted National Police Agency, Ministry of Interior in solving stranger and serious sexual assault cases.
2009
In terms of long-term care for the underprivileged, collaborated with the Labor Bureau, Taichung City Government and the Taichung Welfare Foundation for the Blind” to establish “Visually Impaired Massage Stops”, and was praised by the Taichung City Government.
In response to the Hospital’s development, Social worker organization adjustment; established Medical social workers group and social resource group, mainly responsible for clinical cases, disease alliances, group & volunteer services etc.
2008
Social Worker group was changed to social worker office, Psychiatric Medical Department social workers were integrated to the Hospital’s social worker force.
2007
Awarded the A Evaluation for Medical & Welfare of Municipality Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Prevention.
2005
Awarded as National institute with contributions to domestic violence and sexual assault prevention
1998
In response to the Hospital’s policy in community health, social worker team was transferred to affiliation with the Department of Community Medicine.
1984
In order to provide comprehensive medical services, the Hospital established a social worker team, employed professional social workers and assisted patients and family coupe with social, mental, family and financial problems associated with the disease.
