The first case of “Integrative TCM and Western Medical Care” jointly performed by the Department of Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine and the Department of TCM Internal Medicine.

Physician Kuo-Chin Huang was awarded for his excellent thesis by the Endocrine Society and Diabetes Association.

The name of Chinese and Western Cooperative Medical Center was changed into Department of Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine.

The “Chinese and Western Cooperative Medical Center”(the former institution at the department of Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine) was established. The exchange and collaboration between TCM and Western Medicine were enhanced.
