We provide complete prevention and treatment measures for diseases baffling the female reproductive system, such as cancer surgery and postoperative treatment, urinary incontinence and pelvic reconstructive surgery, and a variety of endoscopic minimally invasive surgeries or laparoscopic surgeries. At the same time, we also provide the Pap Smear Test, the colposcopy, as well as menopausal health education and counseling and other related clinical services.

In the area of cancer treatment, the department has been working closely with the cancer center to provide various types of cancer surgeries and treatments.

In traditional staged surgery for endometrial cancer, the recovery time can be longer as wounds are larger. Now, the department has the ability to implement the staged laparoscopic surgery for treatment of endometrial cancer, and has successfully operated the staged surgery in nearly a hundred cases.

In traditional Surgery for Cervical Cancer, the recovery time can be longer as wounds are larger. Now, the department has the ability to implement the Laparoscopic Radical Surgery for Cervical Cancer, which only creates smaller for fast recovery.

The department has a complete urodynamic examination center for women, providing a full range of examination for women urinary incontinence and care for pelvic relaxation.

According to recent statistics, about one quarter of women aged between 30 and 59 and about 40% of those aged 60 and more have varying degrees of urinary incontinence. Many women are plagued by leakage of urine in the postpartum period, and as they age, urinary incontinence can become more apparent.

The pelvic organ prolapse or incontinence is common problem among women. Traditional methods of treatment may take a long time for operation and create larger wounds with a higher rate of relapse. The department has created thousands of cases in successfully implementation of the total vaginal reconstruction surgery.

Although urinary incontinence does not endanger women's life, it can still affect women's social life. So far, the department has set up the  advanced urodynamic examination room to provide a variety of world-synchronized urinary incontinence surgeries, so that women patients can have a more diversified range of choices for treatment.

The department also provides cervical cancer vaccines and health education services for preventive medicine.

The cervical cancer vaccine is a major breakthrough in the history of human history for fighting cancer. The cervical cancer vaccine has gone public in Taiwan and is currently deemed as an optional choice for preventive medicine. Women who need this service can go to the clinic and receive further explanations by doctors.

The cervical cancer is second to the breast cancer as the most common cancer in women around the world. In Taiwan, the incidence of cervical cancer has ranked top over the previous years. According to conservative estimates, 5700 new cases can be found in Taiwan each year.

It is known that the formation of cervical cancer is closely related to the human papillomavirus (HPV). There are more than 200 types of the human papillomavirus (HPVs), of which more than 20 are the most important HPVs related to the female genital cancer. The most common high-risk HPVs include Type 16, 18, and 58, while the HPVs that cause the genital warts are mostly Type 6 and Type 11.
