Dr. Kuen-Bao Chen is currently president of the Chinese Bu-Xiong Medical Association, and councilor of Taiwan Society of Anesthesiologists and Taiwan Pain Society. Dr. Chen completed his anesthesia training at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Linkou District, in 1991.
He founded the Division of Pain Medicine of China Medical University Hospital in 1994 and served as the first director. He also visited University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey to have training of pain medicine in 1997.
Dr. Chen also went to Boston Children's Hospital, Massachusetts, USA to have training of pediatric cardiac anesthesia in 1998. In 2006, Dr. Chen obtained a master's degree from the Institute of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine of China Medical University. Dr. Chen specializes in cardiothoracic anesthesia, pain management and critical care medicine.

He has a clinic Doctorate teaching class in the Graduate Institute of Biomedical Sciences, which integrates fundamental & clinic translational medical research and has deep innovative review of kidney and vascular diseases caused by cells and molecules.

Doctor Ka-Shun Cheng specializes in anesthesia for otorhinolaryngology and chest surgery, with over 20 years of experience. He focuses on the anesthesia for respiratory tracts, especially for respiratory difficulties, respiratory tract related surgery and difficult respiratory tract cases. Since respiratory diseases are life-threatening or might result in severe complications, Doctor Cheng undergoes life-threatening or severe case research. His abundant experience and performance in clinical treatment has distinguished himself from applications across many countries and was granted clinic research fellow at Harvard Medical School and conducted 1 year research at Brigham and Women’s hospital.
