The Department of Pharmacy collaborates with all medical teams to promote the hospital-wide management of drugs by following the JCIA Medication Management and Use.

• Optimized the Computerized Physician Order Entry System (CPOES), integrated and developed Taiwan's national health insurance system and drug safety-related Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS).
• Applied Artificial Intelligence Automated Dispensing Cabinet (AI-ADC), Intelligent Guidance Dispensing Station (IGDS), Intelligent Guidance Chinese Medicine Dispensing System (IGCMDS), and Intelligent Guidance Medicine Warehouse Management System (IGMWMS), and used intelligent technology to establish the error-proofing system.
• Optimized the Medication Management and Use (MMU) and applied Closed-Loop Medication Management (CLMM) in pharmacy practice for patient medication tracking and tracing.
• Obtained two patents of Taiwan (R.O.C) with “Inpatient Pharmacy Dynamic Management System” and “Medical Service and Management System” in 2016.
• Won numerous certifications of Symbol of National Quality (SNQ), including clinical trial drug management, adverse drug reaction reporting system, and intelligent Chinese medicine pharmacy service in all directions.
• Won the Excellent Benchmarking Gold Award of Medical Technology Groups of CMUH from 2018 to 2019.
• Won the Corporate Volunteer Model Award of China Medical University Hospital in 2019.
• Participated in the short film competition of Basel statements in the Word Pharmaceutical Association and won third prize (2018), second prize (2019) and the honorable mention (2020). These short films were posted on the official Facebook page of the World Pharmaceutical Association.
